Jawaker Social Games

about.

I designed the Social Games feature for the Jawaker gaming app to create a more interactive and communal experience within the platform. While Jawaker primarily focused on traditional one-on-one or table-based gameplay, I wanted to introduce a space where groups of users could engage together in a more dynamic and social format. The feature allows multiple players to participate simultaneously, encouraging connection, competition, and shared moments within the app. Through structured flows, intuitive game entry points, and scalable interface design, I explored how social interaction can strengthen user engagement and extend gameplay beyond individual matches.

how it works.

The Social Games feature allows users to create or join group-based game sessions designed for multiple players to participate at the same time. Players can enter a shared space where the game is structured around interaction, quick rounds, and real-time engagement. The interface guides users through game selection, player setup, and session start in a clear and intuitive flow. By organizing group entry points and simplifying navigation, the feature makes it easy for friends to play together without disrupting the core Jawaker experience. The system is designed to scale, supporting different game types and future social expansions within the platform.

design.

I designed the Social Games feature to integrate seamlessly into Jawaker’s existing dark interface while introducing a more dynamic, group-focused experience. Using a card-based layout and clear category sections, I organized games in a way that supports quick scanning and easy selection. I incorporated search and filter options to improve discoverability and ensured consistent interaction patterns so creating or joining a social game feels intuitive. The design balances energy and clarity, encouraging group engagement without disrupting the core Jawaker experience.
