Jawaker Mailbox

about.

I designed the Mailbox feature for the Jawaker gaming app to centralize system notifications, moderation updates, and user reports in one structured space. Previously, important updates such as competition complaints, violation decisions, and token refunds lacked a clear, organized interface. I created a dedicated Mailbox system that allows users to track reports, view moderation outcomes, and manage unread messages without confusion. The feature improves transparency, builds trust in the platform’s competitive environment, and gives users clear feedback on actions taken within the system.

how it works.

The Mailbox organizes notifications into clear categories, including General updates and Complaints. Users can filter by unread messages, mark all as read, or review individual reports. Each message is presented as a structured card with status indicators such as “No Violation,” “Violation Confirmed,” or “Banned,” using color coding to communicate urgency and outcome. When applicable, users can take action directly within the message, such as reviewing a case or viewing refunded tokens. The system creates a transparent feedback loop between players and moderators while keeping information accessible and easy to manage.

design.

I designed the Mailbox within Jawaker’s dark UI system, ensuring consistency with the app’s visual language while introducing clearer hierarchy for system-level communication. I used card-based layouts with strong visual indicators, including color-coded status tags and icons, to differentiate outcomes and severity levels. The toggle for unread messages and clear “Mark All as Read” action improve usability and reduce cognitive load. The design balances clarity and authority, reinforcing trust in the platform’s moderation process while maintaining a clean, intuitive interface.
